  My now Wife and I recently got married at the Walled Garden. We had an absolutely perfect day in the incredibly beautiful setting. Jan and Julie were so helpful with planning our day and making sure nothing was missed. The weather played ball for us, so we were lucky enough to have our ceremony outside underneath the Rose Pavilion. Our guests were so impressed and all commented how amazing the venue is... no one had been to a wedding quite like it before! Emma really appreciated having a friendly face when she arrived at the venue, and Jan was great by ensuring the bridal party were ready for the aisle walk! It was great to get her input on aspects of the day, drawing on her experience of previous weddings at the Walled Garden.
  
  There are some less positive reviews on here, but we feel that these are misplaced. Yes there are rules and a contract, but we didn't feel like anything was unreasonable in terms of protecting the listed buildings and beautiful garden. We had a wonderful day and wouldn't change it for the world!

  We had our wedding at the Walled Garden in July this year. The venue we originally had booked lost their licence (Manor Barn at Buriton) with 6 months to go before our wedding. I called Jan straight away as we had viewed Walled Garden originally and it was a tough decision between both venues. She could not have been more helpful and really made us feel like we were in safe hands. Every email I sent with all my questions got responded to very promptly and they are on hand during the day to make sure the day went smoothly. Getting married outside in the garden was beautiful and all our guests commented on how amazing the venue was.
  
  From reading the other reviews, yes there are hefty terms and conditions, but from having our original venue lose their entertainment licence because of noise complaints from neighbours, sometimes terms and conditions are required. The restrictions in the T&C's did not stop us from having a perfect wedding day and marrying my best friend. After all, that's what it is all about isn't it. Not whether you can have balloons or not!
